As a visual artist, I interpret my surroundings as part of either the natural, or synthetic and material world. Dividing these two worlds is a way to shield us from the discomfort of possible unpredictability while sustaining tension, that often results in a state of chaos.

The images propose a reflexivity on our behavior and interactions within an environment, and try to expand the limits of each world in order to establish a sense of homeostasis. I approach visuality by contrasting these worlds and creating a tension between body inhabiting territory and territory inhabiting the body, that creates a narrative between the philosophic and lyric. The works are realized through a conceptual lens that reflects the process of finding my voice through challenging it.

Bridging these two worlds through alterations, disruptions and sometimes destruction, the lines start to vanish and become part of a new reality that questions our attitude towards this new space.
